The password is the first of three checks. Two approvals on your phone follow it, and all three must pass.

There is no password reset, no recovery code and no backup approval channel. If the phone is not to hand, the answer is to wait.

Check your phone

A sign-in request has been sent to your Telegram.

1. 1 Approve the first prompt. It shows the address, rough location and browser this request came from - read them before you tap.
2. 2 Confirm the second prompt, which arrives straight after the first.

Both taps are needed. Approving once and stopping does not sign you in - the attempt simply expires, without saying so.

Waiting for approval

Nothing needs to be typed here, and this tab must stay open. If neither prompt reaches your phone, the bot is not reachable from the target PC.
